Congratulations to Chris Emig for being named the Director of Stanford iGEM! iGEM began as a class at MIT in 2003 and, much like Stanford Climate Ventures, has grown into a global program. Today it’s an annual competition that has helped hundreds of thousands of students from around the world learn about and develop new synthetic biology tools to tackle some of the world’s most critical challenges. Cheers to Chris and the entire Stanford iGEM team!
